Wisuda Angkatan I Diploma III Politeknik eLBajo Commodus || Graduation Ceremony for the First Class of the eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic Diploma III Program
Labuan Bajo, 2 Oktober 2021_Untuk pertama kali sejak dibangun empat tahun lalu tepatnya 4 April 2018, Politeknik eLBajo Commodus Labuan Bajo secara resmi telah mewisudakan 24 mahasiswa Angkatan I Diploma III. Mahasiswa yang diwisuda terdiri dari program studi Diploma III Perhotelan sebanyak 6 orang, dan program studi Diploma III Ekowisata sebanyak 18 orang. Sejumlah 2 orang mahasiswi mendapat predikat lulusan terbaik masing-masing Theresia Somi Uran dari Prodi Diploma III Perhotelan dengan IPK 3,68; sedangkan Raimunda Tolo dari Prodi Diploma III Ekowisata lulus dengan IPK 3,81 yang juga tercatat sebagai Lulusan Terbaik angkatan I di Politeknik eLBajo Commodus Tahun Akademik 2021-2022. || Labuan Bajo, October 2, 2021—For the first time since its establishment four years ago—specifically on April 4, 2018—eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic in Labuan Bajo has officially graduated 24 students from its first cohort of the Diploma III program. The graduates included 6 students from the Diploma III in Hospitality program and 18 students from the Diploma III in Ecotourism program. Two female students were named top graduates: Theresia Somi Uran from the Diploma III in Hospitality program with a GPA of 3.68; and Raimunda Tolo from the Diploma III in Ecotourism program, who graduated with a GPA of 3.81 and was also recognized as the top graduate of the first cohort at Commodus eLBajo Polytechnic for the 2021–2022 academic year.
Direktur Politeknik eLBajo Commodus, Prof. Dr. I Putu Astawa, S.E., M.M menyampaikan bahwa beberapa wisudawan angkatan pertama ini sudah terserap di industri pariwisata yang ada di Labuan Bajo. Selain ijazah, wisudawan juga dibekali dengan sertifikasi kompetensi sesuai bidang ilmunya masing-masing, sehingga ketika berada di tengah masyarakat para wisudawan ini sudah siap dan mampu bersaing dengan yang lain. || The Director of eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic, Prof. Dr. I Putu Astawa, S.E., M.M., stated that several graduates from this first class have already been hired by the tourism industry in Labuan Bajo. In addition to their diplomas, the graduates were also equipped with competency certifications in their respective fields of study, ensuring that once they enter the workforce, they are ready and able to compete with others.
Perwakilan wisudawan, Aloysius Suhartim Karya, A.Md.Par pada kesempatan itu menyampaikan rasa bangga dan terima kasih karena telah dididik dan mengenyam pendidikan di kampus Politeknik eLBajo Commodus. “Kami yakin dan percaya bahwa kami adalah lulusan terbaik hasil dari kampus ini dengan kualitas terbaik pula dan kami siap untuk bersaing di dunia luar. Terima kasih kepada para dosen, pendidik yang dengan setia mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan kepada kami. Kami bangga bisa memiliki kampus terbaik ini,” tandasnya. || On that occasion, the student representative, Aloysius Suhartim Karya, A.Md.Par, expressed his pride and gratitude for having been educated and having received his education at the eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic. “We are confident and believe that we are the best graduates produced by this institution, which offers the highest quality education, and we are ready to compete in the wider world. Thank you to the lecturers and educators who have faithfully imparted their knowledge to us. We are proud to be part of this outstanding institution,” he emphasized.
Kegiatan wisuda pertama ini dipimpin oleh Ketua Senat Politeknik eLBajo Commodus, Teddy Halim, S.E., M.M dan dimeriahkan dengan berbagai acara seperti penampilan Tari Kebesaran Politeknik eLBajo Commodus yang bertajuk “Pede Momang eLBajo” dan juga penampilan luar biasa dari eLBajo Choir. Beberapa tamu undangan yang hadir di antaranya adalah Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Manggarai Barat, Bapak Fransiskus Sales Sodo, Direktur Utama Badan Pelaksana Otorita Labuan Bajo Flores, Ibu Shana Fatina, serta beberapa perwakilan dari para stakeholder yang telah menjalin kerjasama dengan Politeknik eLBajo Commodus. || This inaugural graduation ceremony was presided over by the Chair of the eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic Senate, Teddy Halim, S.E., M.M., and featured various performances, including the eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic’s ceremonial dance titled “Pede Momang eLBajo” and an outstanding performance by the eLBajo Choir. Among the invited guests were the Regional Secretary of West Manggarai Regency, Mr. Fransiskus Sales Sodo; the Executive Director of the Labuan Bajo Flores Authority, Ms. Shana Fatina; and several representatives from stakeholders who have established partnerships with eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic.
