Labuan Bajo, Saturday 7 October 2023_eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic is holding another graduation ceremony and has officially graduated 75 students from the intermediate expert study program and the applied undergraduate study program of eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic (PLC). The students who graduated consisted of 10 Diploma III Ecotourism study programs, 11 Diploma III Hospitality study programs, 12 Diploma III Information Technology study programs, 26 Bachelor of Applied Hospitality Management study programs, 10 Bachelor of Applied Taxation Accounting, and 6 Bachelor of Applied International Marketing Management Study Programs which took place at The Jayakarta Suites Komodo Flores Hotel.
A total of 7 students from each study program received the title of graduating with Praise, namely Fransiskus Safdianto Ranu, A.Md.Par Ecotourism Study Program with a GPA of 3.81; Bernardino Yulio Subintarto, S.Tr.Ak Tax Accounting Study Program with a GPA of 3.85; Yohana Kurniawati, A.Md.Par. Hospitality Study Program with GPA 3.84; Lusianty Thoma, S.Tr.Par. Hospitality Management Study Program Teacher Class with a GPA of 3.79; Maria Frederika Dari, S.Tr.Par. Hospitality Management Study Program with a GPA of 3.77; Odilia Luda, S.Tr.M. International Marketing Management Study Program with a GPA of 3.64; Yunita Haman Runtu, A.Md.Kom Information Technology Study Program with a GPA of 3.61; and the title of best college graduate was won by Margareta Julyanti, A.Md.Par Ecotourism Study Program with a GPA of 3.86.
Prof. Dr. I Nengah Dasi Astawa, M.Si in his education report said that all study programs in PLC are very link matches and of course can contribute greatly to the progress of Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai. Apart from that, intense collaboration also continues to be carried out with industry and other stakeholders in order to encourage the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Campus Merdeka (MBKM) in order to produce graduates who have competencies such as: human skills, conceptual skills, managerial skills, technical skills, soft skills and spiritual skills. PLC is here with the hope that all the people of West Manggarai, especially Labuan Bajo, will make PLC the SECOND HOME, especially for young people. eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic will always be ready and will not forget to express many thanks to the industry and stakeholders who have involved and even recruited our students to take part in every event.
In his speech, Mr. Dr. Yulianus Weng, M.Kes., also appreciates and is proud of PLC students who always participate in all local, national and even international events, this is considered a form of PLC support for the progress of West Manggarai.
On this occasion, the 7 best graduates and 3 active PLC students also received awards in the form of savings prizes from Bank NTT Labuan Bajo which were handed over by Mr. Dr. Yulianus Weng, M.Kes., and Mr. Boy Reynaldo Nunuhitu as Head of Bank NTT Labuan Bajo.
This 3rd graduation activity was opened by PLC Senate Secretary Mrs. Dr. Ni Wayan Noviana Safitri, SE, M.Si and was enlivened with various events such as the performance of the PLC Greatness Dance entitled “Pede Momang eLBajo”, the performance of the eLBajo Choir and also performances from graduates to parents.
Some of the invited guests who attended included the Head of LLDIKTI Region XV, Prof. Dr. Adrianus Amheka, ST, M.Eng. who attended online; General Manager of The Jayakarta Suites Komodo Flores; PT Pegadaian Labuan Bajo; Ruteng-Labuan Bajo Primary Tax Office; General Manager of Sudamala Resort Komodo and Seraya; HRD Anjani Trip Labuan Bajo; Head of PT Pos Indonesia-Labuan Bajo; Denny’s Group Labuan Bajo; BPS West Manggarai; Puri Sari Beach Hotel and also Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo.
