Labuan Bajo, February 7, 2025 – Faculty members at eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the topic: “Innovations in Smart Traditional Tourism Villages to Enhance the Competitiveness of Tourism Villages.” The discussion featured a case study of Wae Lolos Village in West Manggarai Regency.

This activity was attended by members of the Cunca Plias Community-Based Tourism Group in Wae Lolos Village and was supported by funding from the Education Fund Management Agency through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s “Berdikari Partnership Catalyst” Program under the “Self-Reliant and Prosperous Economy” scheme.

Through this discussion, it is hoped that the concept of the Smart Traditional Tourism Village can be implemented to enhance the competitiveness of tourism villages and empower local communities in a sustainable manner.
